Waldbröhl

The arms are basically canting, a tree for the woods (Wald=wood) and the small brook Bröl. The plough iron is a symbol for the agriculture in the area and the lion is the lion of the counts of Berg. The arms were granted in 1957. There were no older arms known. The lion of the counts of Berg indicates the fact that the village became in the Middle Ages part of the Amt Windeck of the county Berg.
